Peces Terrenales was created as a tribute to Gaudí and Catalan trencadís, interweaving fragments, color, and material into an organic dialogue between art and nature. First exhibited in 2024 during the America’s Cup in Barcelona, the piece evokes movement, memory, and the spirit of the Mediterranean.
In 2025, the work was selected for an artistic performance in Paris as part of a satellite event during Paris Art Week. There, Plexxo intervened in the piece by filling it with oil and acid as a symbol of the impact and destruction that humanity causes to the planet and to the waters of seas and rivers.
